First thing in the morning my boss said cheerfully: HAPPY CHUP GOR MEI! I am nineteen turning twenty and this is first time I heard this. No on told me about chop gor mei before. Innocently, i asked my colleagues. One said it is the chinese Valentine's days. Where all the old chinese ladies will stroll on the street. If a gong zi/ shao ye(young master) have a liking for her, he will call the match maker to visit her house the next day. Immediately I told another colleague: "Lets go out tonight and walk along orchard road!!"

Well, I rushed to Bugis right after I left the office. Wanted to eat veggie rice from the store I frequent but they are close today. ): I am so happy to be home after a long day. I just want to be in my cosy room.

Chinese New Year
What is the first thing you do once you get and after a long day of visiting? Open your ang pows right? Not for me this year. I just wated to get home and rest. My mind was filled with going back to work at Fendi. I might sound crazy but I just it is the matters of the heart. It felt so bitter when someone is ignoring you. Maybe you are not even a bit interested. But because of you, I know who are the people who care. Thanks for being there lovelies. I am so over you. . .

Today is the last day of CNY, I should put aside some time to open my ang pows. (: Lucky OX year to everyone! ;)

Brother Kim's birthday! I love you! Of course I love him if not i wouldn't buy a pair of diamond studs for him. :D I worked till 10pm and I felt so bad the peeps had to wait for him outside Zouk! Okay let me confess: It was my first time in Zouk!! Like finally. I don't really like clubbing. Not that I've not been to a club. St James, MOS, yes. For fashion shows. But right after the show I just went home. Didn't have the mood to even stay on to mingle. So back to Zouk. I love Mambo! Don't laugh at me but I guess it is the group of people you are with? They are such a fun bunch! Everyone was so high on alcohol and what not. And I was gulping a variety of vodka and martel(thanks to Terence). I was like a little monkey trying to mimic the hand movements. 'Love in the first degree' is the only step i can memorise in my heart. Haha! But I just can't dance there. Sorry but I was classical ballet trained. Not clubbing style please. I will just faint :/

I've met my fair share of weird fishermen. Two chinese and one Italian. Creepy i was so freaked out can!

So, clubbing is not a bad thing afterall. Because I stay with my brother and his friends. Once I am out of their sight for 5 seconds, I received two messages: "Where are you?? Come back now..!" Awwwww, how sweet. Just seeing some people dance really tickled my funny bone. :P

Great and I had sore throat/inflammation on Thursday. Felt a tad feverish. Difflam lozenges and Danzen does wonders. I have running nose now!!

Wanted to go Chinatown last weekend but because I am sick I had to stay home to recuperate. And I watched tonneless episodes of The Gem of Life. :D I will make sure I visit Chinatown this weekend. Breakfast, dessert, tutukueh, shop around and around and around for textiles, toiletries, pastries... etc. Oh you make me dizzy! I can't wait!

I can't believe I'm turning 20. Sometimes I wish I am older. Oh wells. Although I'm still quite a baby I don't want to be seen as one. ): I hope I will grow wiser. Not so naive at least. And don't fall in love so quickily. I get smitten easily, that is bad.

It is 8pm and i have not taken a shower cause I am going to meet Jenna in JP later. Dinner time ;)

Valentine's
Oh dear! No one is dating me on Valentine's! But who cares. Haha. I got a heart cookie sprinkled with heart bits from the boss. How sweet!

I love my boss. Truckloads, lorryloads, tonnes and a gazillion. I am really grateful to have met her. For she is the best boss and teacher! I won't be seeing her the whole of next week cause this super woman is taking a well deserved long relaxing holiday. ;) Well, I feel so loved, by eveyone in the office. Rushed to Jurong Point after work to get undergarments. No, not red. And now I am home. I blogged partly cause it has been ages and I'm waiting for time to pass!

Rejoice! Cause Dad is on his way back, oh how I miss him. After which Junior is dropping by. And off to the cinema with big brother and his friends. I want to watch Red Cliff 2! Anyone? (:

I had dinner with Marcus last night. He suggested Dempsey but I was craving for Ayam Penyet :P as usual! While we were crossing the little road from lucky plaza to rolex building, a car almost bang me but I just stood there and stare at the car. Oh dear Marcus thinks that moment is priceless! I think I'm just a laggard. Slow reaction I have!

This issue has been on my mind for quite long. Now that i'm experiencing working life and seeing how others are working. I am wondering to myself: Career or family? In this case family is not my mom and dad and brothers. I'm talking about settling down. Not now but in the future you know what I mean. Per last blog entry, you can see the hectic schedule I have everyday. Can't even fork out time to shop in peace. Oh dear oh dear. I want to get married and have cute little kids! I don't want to work and work and work and neglect my own life. But I guess this is what modern women are facing, no? I wonder how many ladies and men are married in Ngee Ann City office tower. Shall I start a little survey? Hmmmm.

Did I tell you before that I find guys my age extremely not matured. Twenty five and above.

Wonderful friday! Andrew fetch me to braddell again! Work was okay! So proud I did another challenging task. Was looking forward to having lunch with Jenna but got caught up with some last minute work. But anyhows we lunched at Yoshinoya! Never plan to lunch at restaurants during lunch hour. It is EXTREMELY CROWDED! Jenna and I learnt our lesson. Maybe we should learn the tai tai way: Call and make an appointment! ;)

While i'm typing, i'm munching on Yoku Moku's choco rolls from Richard Mille. Extremely delicious. Thanks Andrew!

I miss clara truckloads! Can't wait to see her again. Love her to bits. Guess monday will be a busy day since we have a bit of stuffs to do. Wanted to have dinner with Andrew at Jurong point but since I was craving for Boonlay market's food, we had malay nasi lemak ;) What I really miss is the chinese nasi lemak, dry prawn bee hoon and bbq sambal sotong/stingray. So we went to the all new JP shops. And last but not least, FAIRPRICE XTRA! Hahaha. Extremely cold inside, have to bring along a sweater in future.

I miss the koala! OMG. Can't believe it.

FENDI x L'Officiel X'mas private event on thursday was pure fun! Just day 4 and it is my first event! Wow. Okay I have a new friend, a photographer. He just love to make fun of me. From my disgusting complexion to my ugly eyebrows! I told him the Dior salesperson is the cutest in the shop and he went over to talk to him! I got really scared but he told me he is his friend. *Phew. Had a glass of Baileys and my face turned super red. The waiter keep encouraging me to eat. Gosh. Ate some yellow tiny i-don't-know what with mayo, smoked salmon with red caviar, raisins with cream for dessert, a little cup of chocolate. Yummy!!!

Extremely exhausted. DO NOT DISTURB. I need to focus big time.

And so I met little Dita at Toa Payoh after work to collect something. And went to woodlands to meet Linus to collect something. Hahaa. Mom fetch from JE. I know I have a boring blog. Cause I talk about what I do everyday.

I long for a free weekend. Going to school on weekdays plus working on weekends is extremely tiring. Woke up at 11am and I had to prepare for work. Mom cooked lunch for Daryl and I. Both of them fetched me to work and went to Chinatown without me ): I was working! Mom and Daryl went cruising at Chinatown, then to Daryl uncle's place to get his clothes. Both of them went home for a little nap, mom fetch ambassador off at the airport ( heard he bought a seat for his doggie ;) ). She was nice enough to fetch me from work and had to rush home to fetch Daryl back to camp. Ahhhhh called korkor down to drive instead since shes tired. Lovelie. Can't wait for March to come, my first free weekend!

Customer A was looking for a pair for shorts, but I don't have the size he want. While browsing through more shorts, his friend, customer B started to chat with me. Asked where am I studying, what do I do after school, where do i live, so on. What do I do when i'm free, I told him i'm never free and i'm always doing homework. He asked do I go to to pubs/clubs. He got a shock when I told him no. And carried on saying my boy boy must be very lucky. (Note he used the word BOY BOY. OMG LAH. I seriously think he is like in his late twenties can -.-) Anyways customer A said he is done browsing and ask customer B to leave the shop with him. And so customer B replied: "Wah lau, so fast see finish, I haven't taken her number leh!!"

Mom bought few yards of fabrics and she was so happy cause it is Georgette. And so I asked her to show her Georgette to me! *Gasps. One look and I know obviously IT IS NOT GEORGETTE. Hello mother goose you just got cheated! To futher prove to her, I cut a bit of the fabric and burnt it. Holy moly the residue dripped on my second finger! @#$()$#*%(@*#!!!! Georgette's ash is suppose to be CRUSHABLE. And this stupid fabric is WAX-Y/ melts like man made fiber. Damn. Now my finger is injured and it has been more than 5 days. Hurts big time.

HAAAAAAAAA. Mom was being lame. Obviously she is loving her god son more than anything else. Everything she wanna buy, anywhere she wanna go, whatever she wanna do(including meeting her old pals), she will ask: Daryl.

Did you guys receive the topshop/topman/ben sherman... et cetera 30% + 10% secret sales sms? I'm bored so i shall blog the daily what-i-do-style. Just so happen it was ben's off day. I showed him the sms and we just have this impromptu shopping trip down to vivo! And i bumped into celina! Wanted to get a cute little black dress from topshop but it is not very body flattering. Anyways ben bought a shirt and a cardigan. Was craving for Thai food so we had some really delicious dishes at thai express. Papaya salad, tung hoon meat ball soup, prawn glass noodle, green curry + rice, soft shell crab. Bought balestier tau sar piah tooooo! Can't believe ben have been staying in balestier all his life but have not tried the tau sar piah! Then to candy empire to get Giottos. Went to Tangs to hunt for more dresses, still can't seem to find any. -.- Off to food republic for cheng tng~ Ben wanted to lend some piano scores so he came over. And i gave him all the swiss miss chocolate variety i have. Yummy! Oh not forgetting Snickers Pods ;)

Let me tell you what I did for the past few days.

Tuesday: Woke up at 8 -10am to sew fabrics. 10am - 11am shower and prepare to go out. 11am - 12pm took a train to bugis. 12pm -3pm do textile research book and bind it. 3pm - 6pm textile class. Went to Ikea at to source for project stuff till 10pm.

Wednesday: Was suppose to go for class from 10am to 2pm but i wasnt feeling well so i decided to rest. Went to Bugis, Beach road, Concourse to hunt for acrylic boxes. Had a graduation briefing in school at 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Thursday: Went to school at 10am to look for lecturer. Did project till 2pm. Went around bugis and peace centre and whereever to hunt for printing companies, sat at TCC to call my 7 contractors to bug them for quotation. Met my friend at plaza sing spotlight at 7pm to look for fabrics. went to chinatown at 8pm to look for fabrics. mom came over to fetch us back home. And continue searching for fabrics in my 6 big bags of fabrics -.-"

Friday: Went to Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park to source for acrylic sheets from 2pm to 4pm. Went to Takashimaya from 4pm to 5.30pm to buy acrylic glue and brush. Went to friend's place to collect acrylic cutter and cut scrylic from 6pm to 7pm. Went to Great World City to call my contractors and what not from 7pm to 8pm. Dinner with mom from 8.30pm to 10pm.

My Sats and Suns are gone, full day from 12pm to 10pm. Unless you want to have breakfast with him from 9am to 11am and fetch me to work.

My mom's friend gave me one whole big bag of fabric swatches from Europe and I got no idea what they are except for drill and corduroy. WEEEEHEEEEE. Swim swim swim in fabrics!

My nail is so weak. I peeled like 1/4 of my thumb nail out and it hurts big time. Sigh. I feel so paralyzed! ):

And at this point of time I feel so jealous and sad ): Even months before I wanted to dress up as a Geisha and go to my virgin Zouk trip. But I guess I am too busy to do that. I can't believe I am doing my report for more than 12 hours since 12pm yesterday. Like seriously. Okay maybe I went to eat dinner and chat a bit on msn with friends for a while and took a shower. Other than that I swear I was stuck in front of the computer.

Will wants to retire soon. He is in his late twenties. I wish he can retire now so I can have my virgin piercing experience and vice versa for him. He can't pierce his ears for work reasons anyways.

I am glad I talked to Kevan and found out he is an interior designer. He is so sweet he is going to check out the price of neon lights for me. ;)

I hope there are no stalkers going to my shop later when i'm working. :/ P/s; last weeks, there were two other guys other than the guy who waited from 2pm to 10pm :/

I am going to Bangkok again from 6th - 9th November with mom and little brother! Wanted to meet Mo but too bad she is flying to Hongkong on the 3rd! Haha cutie asked me to go earlier cause she wants to meet me. OMG I wish I could! I just asked Okta if he wants to go and he said yes! OMG lah.. lucky boy can travel as and when he wish. But he have a presentation on 6th and 7th. So he is left with 2 days which is quite pathetic. So I guess I is not worth it. I told mom he wants to go and she said: "aiya! wasted! ask him to fly on 7th immediately after his presentation!" HAHAHAHHA.
